The Sigil Trilogy

If you're looking for an amazing, WOW! science fiction story, check out THE SIGIL TRILOGY. This is — literally — one of the best science fiction novels I've ever read.

New Book from a Critter Member

**NOW IN PRINT EDITION TOO!** Awesome new book, HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR SPECULATIVE FICTION OPENINGS, from a Critter member who's unearthed a shard of The Secret to becoming a pro writer. Really good piece of work. "...if you're at all concerned about story openings, you'd be nuts not to read what Qualkinbush has to say." —Wil McCarthy, author of BLOOM and THE COLLAPSIUM

Interviewed!

I was interviewed live on public radio for Critters' birthday, for those who want to listen.

Known Issues

Below is a list of know issues reported with the Reader' Poll. If you know of a problem and don't see it listed here, you may report it here.

In Horror Novels, The URL is messed up and should either lead to my site or the Amazon page for LOSING TOUCH. I would put the URLs in here, but don't want to break the rules.

In Science Fiction & Fantasy Novels, The link to Soul Taker didn't show up. I know URLs are not allowed so hopefully with it printed this way, you'll see the link. dot is spelled out indicated--well you know. :) Thanks so much. www (dot)amazon(dot)com/Soul-Taker-Karen-Michelle-Nutt-ebook/dp/B00BSWORN0/

In Book/e-book Cover Artwork page, 'Mortimer by Anthony Wilson' is a duplicate of 'Mortimer by Karri Klawiter'. I accidentally put the authors name first, then resubmitted it with the artists name. It should be Karri Klawiter as the artist.

In Erotica Novels, Can't get my book entered -- filling out every box, including my vote, but clicking on "submit" does nothing, and I get no confirmation e-mail. (In case you can add it from where you are -- it's Deep Plunge, third in a series, under this name and e-mail address...)

In Artists page, 'Renee Barratt, The Cover Counts' is a duplicate of 'Renee Barratt'.

In All other Short Stories, 'Rags to Riches' is a typo and should read: 'Riches to Rags'.

In Horror Short Stories, There is an omission(s). The story "9 Vials of Blood" appears in the anthology The Speed of Dark. The title The Speed of Dark should be included. It is published by Chase Enterprises Publishing.

In Anthologies page, 'The Speed of Dark' is a duplicate of 'The Speed of Dark'. The Speed of Dark is listed twice, and the publisher listed is slightly different. It should be Chase Enterprises Publisher.

In Horror Short Stories, I keep trying to get this through. For the story "9 Vials of Blood," please add the anthology in which it appeared, The Speed of Dark.

In Artists page, 'Renée Barratt' is a duplicate of 'Renee Barratt, The Cover Counts'.

In Mystery Novels, 'http://amzn.to/12gBwlL' is a typo and should read: 'http://amberquill.com/AmberAllure/SparringShadows.html'.

In Poetry Magazine/e-zines page, 'http://dreamsansnightmaresmagazine.com/' is a typo and should read: 'http://dreamsandnightmaresmagazine.com/'.

In Romance Short Stories, Arabian Night Walker was wrongly submitted - While I was working on my personal site as well as popping an entry on here. It was published in 2012 not 2013. Devil's Devotion was meant to be here (which it is) as it was published Oct 2013.

In Erotica Novels, Two of the top four entries are anthologies. The titles are "Tis the Season for Seduction" and "The Crimson Rope".

In Anthologies page, 'The Speed of Dark by Chase Enterprises' is a duplicate of 'The Speed of Dark by Chase Enterprises Publishing'.

In Poetry Magazine/e-zines page, I tried to vote for the Horror Zine but your website stopped.

In Review Site page, I've tried voting for The Ginger Nuts of Horror at least half a dozen times, but all that happens when I click Submit Vote is a message that this page can't be displayed. As far as I can tell I'm doing everything right, including typing the author name.

In Anthologies page, 'The Speed of Dark by Chase Enterprises Publishing' is a duplicate of 'The Speed of Dark by Chase Enterprises'. I just want to make sure that any votes that went to The Speed of Dark, published by Chase Enterprises, are transferred to The Speed of Dark, published by Chase Enterprises Publishing. I don't know who nominated Chase Enterprises or why, but it is bound to split the votes that should be going to the Chase Enterprises Publishing nomination. As the book is in the top 3 finalists, this could ruin the chances of the book winning in the Anthologies category. Thank you for looking after this matter. Clayton Bye

In Young Adult Books, 'Sphie's Secret Crush' is a duplicate of 'Sophie's Secret Crush'.

In Romance Novels, 'Say When' is a duplicate of 'Say When A Something More Novel'.

In Science Fiction & Fantasy Novels, 'Dark Liaison by J.D. Brown' is a duplicate of 'Dark Liaison by J.D. Brown'.

In Writers' Discussion Forum page, 'Sphie's Secret Crush' is a duplicate of 'Sophie's Secret Crush'. 'Sphie's Secret Crush' is a typo and should read: 'Sophie's Secret Crush'.

In Science Fiction & Fantasy Novels, 'Dark Liaison, J.D. Brown' is a duplicate of 'Dark Liaison, J.D. Brown, MuseItUpPublishing'. Please keep the one with the publisher and link information.

In Science Fiction & Fantasy Novels, The link for Status Quo (by Mark Rosendorf) is broken. The correct link is - www.markrosendorf.com/StatusQuo.html Thanks in advance.

In Science Fiction & Fantasy Short Stories, Worm by Steven Foreman is listed in this category and actually seems to have a good number of votes. However, Worm is NOT a short story, but a rather lengthy novel. It is also listed in the SF/Fantasy novel category and is doing well there.

In Science Fiction & Fantasy Novels, 'Cassie Scott: ParaNormal Detective' is a duplicate of 'Cassie Scot: ParaNormal Detective'. Thank You

In Romance Novels, 'Say When' is a duplicate of 'Say When A Something More Novel'. Thank you

In Romance Novels, 'Say When' is a duplicate of 'Say When A Something More Novel'. Thank you
