How to Write SF
The Craft of Writing Science Fiction that Sells by Ben Bova, best-selling author and six-time Hugo Award winner for Best Editor. (This is one of the books your ol' Critter Captain learned from himself, and I highly recommend it.) (Also via Amazon)
New Book from a Critter Member**NOW IN PRINT EDITION TOO!** Awesome new book, HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR SPECULATIVE FICTION OPENINGS, from a Critter member whose unearthed a shard of The Secret to becoming a pro writer. Really good piece of work. "...if you're at all concerned about story openings, you'd be nuts not to read what Qualkinbush has to say." —Wil McCarthy, author of BLOOM and THE COLLAPSIUM
I was interviewed live on public radio for Critters' birthday, for those who want to listen.

Beautiful story! This one made me cry—even the second read through. Moon delivers a powerful story that will stick with you long after you finish reading. Well done!
Excellent story. Really enjoyed reading.
This is an awesome story by Wulf Moon. It’s not only a fun story, but it has a unique message. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry...it’s the best short story I’ve read all year!
An amazing story about spreading hope to those who don't realize they need it. With 2020 being the year that it was, this story is a perfect way to cheer you up and make you smile. I highly recommend it!
Muzik Man was the most awesome story I’ve ever read! The parallels with the life and death of Jesus Christ was astounding. Loved this story! Debbie Culver
This story is a delightful reminder of what passion and love for music can do to save your soul. Mr. Wulf is a talented writer with a great musical ear (as we say in Greece). Well done!
Deep Magic always looks to publish high quality.
The concept of the story Musik Man is fresh, original, and highly creative. I love all the characters, it's so hard to decide which one is my favorite. A good story requires 1. An intriguing plot. 2. Touching characters that readers can relate to. 3. Prose that can stylistically grasp the readers' attention 4. A good moral. For me, Musik Man scored high in all four categories, and this is why it deserves my vote.
Muzik Man was exceptionally well-written and entertaining. Wulf Moon shows incredible talent.
A unique and heartwarming story!
Music! Music! Music!
