I like the female sleuth who has a proclivity for finding trouble. Her colleague is an earthy, Harlem born African American who is very funny. The novel is set in South Africa and includes interesting cultural information about the country. There’s a touch of romance and lots of suspense as the sleuth tries to unravel a murder mystery involving sorcery, gay pride and cobra venom.
I love a good mystery and this one is it.
Really enjoyed this well researched novel
Wonderful descriptions. Feeling like you are right there.

The character development made the plot seem more believable.
I like Nancy's style and her plots are really interesting to say the least.
I like to read imaginative mysteries set in places I've never visited but would like to visit. This one is set in South Africa.
All of Nancy Curteman's book are great. I really enjoyed them all and waiting for her next one.
Love her work.
I have read and loved all of this author's books.
Combines the best of travel books and mysteries. Good characters and riveting plot.
