If you fail to read every volume every year you are missing the best of syfy short stories.
If a reader likes a diverse collection of Syfy and fantasy then this book is one to have and enjoy.
Adored the amount of talent and stories in this anthology.
Wonderful anthology. My favorite story was 'super-duper moongirl'. Also loved 'a certain slant of light' and 'the damned voyage'. Great collection!
I'm a little biased because I'm in the book, but I also believe my fellow Writers of the Future deserve the recognition for their hard work and persistence in trying to break in! Writers of the Future isn't just a great collection, it's a great encouragement in an industry that can feel lonely and thankless when you're starting out!
I like WotF stories because they don't generally (9/10) end with a: huh? Too often in the Best Of anthos the story drops you off a cliff either trying to be literary or clever. WotF stories have satisfying endings.
Love love love it!!!!!!
