Current Time in Iran for Twitter (@Time_in_Iran)
Hi, Critterfolk (and other members of the public),
I've set up a program to tweet the current time in Iran once an hour. This is to help understand the timeframe of tweets coming out of Iran, almost half the world away from those of us in the US (timezone-wise; but very close in terms of aspirations for freedom). If you follow @Time_in_Iran, there will be no news or editorial comments, just the time tweeted once an hour.
I'm including the #IranElection and #gr88 hashtags; if there are others that people think would be helpful please contact me.
(Based on your system's clock/timezone.)
Speaking of "Green," on an unrelated topic, I recently founded a new nonprofit organization, GreenAroundYou.org, dedicated to the "sustainability" kind of Green: Promoting education and support for green activities. Have a look. :) (I'd appreciate it if you'd spread the word.)
[Don't know if it would be useful or not but I also operate a site to provide virtual email addresses, VirtID.com. Meant for spam avoidance but you never know how something could be useful in a different context.]
