Wonderful read of the disturbing kind!!
A return to horror that is subtle, psychological and artistic. No blood and guts and gore here. The writers pull you in, like reeling in a catch. Which means the reader is involved in the drama. Kudos to Clayton Bye for gathering together such fine artists.
I have never been disappointed in Gerald Rice's stories and his in included in this anthology
An excellent collection of disturbing stories.
I notice the anthology (Speed of Dark) is listed twice with slightly different names for the publisher. Perhaps you can consolidate the votes into one. Cheers, Casey
The Speed of Dark is a wonderful read of the disturbing kind.
Many reasons to vote for this book and here are but a few: 1. A stunning collection of well-written short stories, by very talented writers; 2. A dark offering to keep you entertained well beyond expectation; 3. An ambitious project guaranteed to keep many awake at night.
This anthology is horror at its best. Its roots go deep into the fears of the human psyche, inflicting very personal fears on extraordinary characters.
An exceptional anthology of the human terror that lives in our lizard brains. The characters are diverse and beautifully drawn, and their frightening adventures into dark places is truly chilling.
Not you usual, predictable horror work. It is engrossing and hard to put down once you start reading it.
i LOVED EACH AND EVERY STORY.
